The moving company that THEY contracted will not take responsibility either. All we want is for them to repair this damage. We searched for weeks for the table and really love it. With proper care, we had hoped that it would remain beautiful even as we had meals with our grandchildren. This is a purchased we saved for for years as a young couple, and it is a big deal to us. So sad that people have forgotten what good customer service is. We are really disappointed in how we were treated. They kept saying how "high end" and "reputable" they were, but their treatment of us did not reflect that at all. They even refused to put it in writing that it was undamaged when it left their store, so that we could take up the issue with the moving company. Basically they won't accept responsibility, but they won't agree that anyone else is responsible either. They have told us in not so many words to just live with it.
Palladio has the best selection of fine antiques and art in the city of Memphis! I have always had wonderful experiences, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I recently bought a white chest for our master bedroom that is GORGEOUS, and the delivery was so fast and convenient! Over the past couple of years, I have bought two French chairs, pillows, other home accessories, a rug, and two beautiful paintings. Palladio is always my go-to place when I am shopping for a new piece for our home! (The coconut cake and peach tea in the cafe is also a must have!)
This is the place to go in Memphis if you love beautiful, quality decorator items for your home. There is so much to see - rugs, lamps, furniture, original art, and a whole lot more. Plan to spend at least an hour when you go so that you can experience it all. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Cafe Palladio, located in the center of the building.
The logo for this store should read "You can't expect to get a great price and great service" since that's what they told a friend of mine that spent a great deal of money there and the items were delivered all scratched up!! When she called to let them know of the damage, that was the reply they got! This company will not replace or fix the items that were damaged. Let me ask this of you that would like to purchase something from here...Would you prefer great price or great service? Because obviously you won't get both from here! I'm pretty sure most businesses offer BOTH! Steer clear of this place!

NEVER buy an antique from The Palladio Group in Midtown. We spent thousands of dollars, and one of our items was damaged, either while it was waiting to be delivered or as it was being delivered. They refused to work with us on resolving it, and they were terribly nasty to us on the phone. Quote from the owner "You can't expect to get a great price and great service" And she told my husband that we were making a "mountain out of a molehill" over "three little scratches" and that we would probably damage the table ourselves in the coming years and that "Life happens.". The table didn't have "three little scratches, it had about five places where the wood was dug into and the finished damaged and then several dark scuff marks on the top.
