Fast and easy. Had everything we needed!
I rented a book from Textbook Brokers in January. I found the same book at another place for half the price so I did not pickup the book from Textbook Brokers. In early May, I turned the book back in to the cheaper place. In January, I needed the book ASAP, but the guy from Textbook Brokers told me that he could order it, but it would take a week. I did not think to cancel or get a refund at the time. Three days ago, I received a message from my bank saying that my account was overdrawn. I hadn't made any purchases or withdrawals since April. I looked to see what the charge was and it was $68.81 plus a $36 fee. I called Textbook Brokers about 13 times to see why I was charged but I got no answer. I tried once more and someone answered.The guy told me that I had not returned a book by the due date. I then asked what book he was talking about. He described the book that I rented from them. I told him that I hadn't picked up the book but he said that I did and hung up the phone. So I walked to the store to speak to someone else. The guy told the same thing, so I asked him what day did I pickup the book. The records did not have a date. He then checked in the back and the book was there. He then told me that he could refund the $68.81 to my account and there was nothing they could do about the overdraft fee. So I will never rent from Textbook Brokers again!
They always have the best prices around and if they happen to be out of a book they are quick to order it, if possible. I would never buy or rent my books anywhere else in memphis!
