This is the headquarters of the grand 'ole Church of God in Christ! Our anthem; "you can't join it, you have to be born in the Church of God in Christ" is a phrase of long ago and I'm sure, a reality; however, today, more people are "joining" without being born again. I love the Church of God in Christ and have been a member for 40 years. You may be able to "join" this church and other churches, but to qualify for the church in which Jesus will be returning to receive, you MUST be born again according to the holy scriptures!

Historic Church of God in Christ Temple. This is the site that Dr. Martin Luther King gave his last public speech on the night before his assassination. I have not attended services here as I am not a member of this church, but I visited many times. It is always a moving experience.
