I shop at this store all the time and normally my shopping experience is everything. Well on 2/2/2016, I called the store prior to going into the store. I was looking for the Leather Ponte jacket that was on clearance online but was sold out. I phoned the store around 3 pm to inquire about the jacket. The representative at the store name Denise (manager) answer the call. I asked if she could check on the jacket or check to see if any other stores may have the jacket if her store no longer had the jacket. Well, she placed my on hold briefly and was conversing with another associate. I overheard her say," if someone calls in about clearance items just tell them we don't have the item." So she came back to the phone maybe a few seconds after speaking with the associate and was like ma'am we don't have the jacket. So I went into the store around 5 pm and found the jacket there were two left. The jacket was on clearance but not as cheap as online. I asked if their store honor online prices and was advised no. I said well I have a 25% off coupon. I was advised by Denise that I could not use the coupon because the item was marked down. Her exact words were " you can't use a coupon on top of a coupon". How am I use a coupon on top of a coupon if the item is marked down? The coupon didn't have any restrictions of full price or clearance items. The coupon clearly stated to provide the code to the cashier. Needless to say she (Denise) still refused to use the coupon. She did take 15% off and followed me around the store begging me not to report her. She then advised me that I could use the 25% off but she's not supposed too if I purchase something else. I would have taken my money elsewhere but, I really needed the jacket. She's a manager and she shouldn't talk nor treat people as she did me on yesterday. She also was really rude to her employees yesterday as well.
This is the worst Ashley Stewart! It's NOT organized. Every time i have visited the location, boxes are in the way. The two older ladies are not professional and ghetto. The music is always too loud! I would not recommend this location to a dog on a cold winter day! That Denise woman was behind the counter just standing there holding hangers with an ugly expression on her face and saw me standing there and did not asked if she could assist for a few minutes just because she saw I had a return when I walked in the door! A store is always a reflection of it's management...
Today was my FIRST & LAST time shopping in this location! I personally prefer to shop at the Southaven, MS location where the workers are more courteous, patient, understanding and have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Shopping at this location was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN! The Customer service was TERRIBLE! The two older ladies were rude, impatient, made smart remarks in my face in front my husband and was just TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL!
I gave this Store a 5 Star I went there on 12/20/17 when I walked in notice how well organized and neat then I was greeted very friendly by the Manager Denise she told me about every discount and sale going on they had a amazing sale going on so I started looking and they have a temporary employee name Marneshia this young lady really worked the floor for me seriously I had outfits brought to me she put together and I actually loved them I have been there before and it’s usually friendly welcome to Ashley Stewart and that’s it but I can honestly say Marneshia Wallace is a keeper I know her full name cause I asked their names before I left to give credit where due. When you are welcome with friendly sales people and great service you want to visit again and I definitely will be back.There was another young lady name Courtney had a very pleasant attitude when assisting with checking out and smile often I was so pleased with the store I had to write a review. Keep up the Great work store 331 and you will keep your customers coming back ♥️♥️
Terrible customer service. Rude and I felt very uncomfortable shopping there. I am never going to this location again. The one on Lamar Avenue is much better. The employees are friendly and helpful. Communicative..
