Best Burger in Memphis = Mr. Goodburger at Roxies. Another good choice is the pancake breakfast. Very affordable. Cooked to order. Big, hearty servings. A hungry man's oasis. No dine-in options, so plan on drooling and driving....or eating in the car.
Having recently reopened after a fire, Roxie's is back in business. Their burgers are great. Their fries are ok. And their wait time is long. Be prepared to call in your order or wait 20 minutes during the lunch rush. They do not have any chairs or tables and there is no A/C inside their convenience store.
I lived in this area for years. Roxies is an old fashioned community store with an open grill, hearty soul food cooking and country down to earth owners and staff. Recently remodeled, the best in North Memphis.
