Nice, clean, bright, open and airy. And the attendant is very helpful. She didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing how the laundomat experience works. If you can't do laundry at home (our dryer is broken), this is a great alternative.
We visited this laundry mat for like the third time. I usually come in here to do my king size bedding. I went to put my money in the washer and I put a dollar in a two dollar machine and it got stuck. We could add more quarters but they didn’t go toward the balance so we had to push the button to get the quarter back but we couldn’t push the button and get the other dollar that we had already added back. So I moved my load to the next machine and started it. My husband went to get the attendant to get a dollar back. The attendant came to the machine to tell us that he used it “this morning” and that there was nothing wrong with it. When we told him what was going on with it, that we could add money to it, but it doesn’t go to the balance, and that we could push the return button and get our coin back but we needed the other four quarters back. He didn’t listen and he preceded to tell us that we were wrong, and that we weren’t listening to him...??? My husband asked him if he was accusing us of lying over $1.00? So the conversation got heated. He wouldn’t allow us to explain what was going on with the machine, because “he used it this morning and it was fine!” So he explained that when you push the button you get your coin back. Yes! You get that one coin back, but you don’t get the rest of the dollar that you put in there. So once we finally got to explain that to him, he put a quarter in and saw that what we were saying was correct and he got upset and started screaming profanitities (D and MF) at the machine and punching it, and then he gave us four quarters back, and told us that all we had to do was tell him that’s what we needed. Hahahaha! I asked him if the owner was available to talk to because he should absolutely not be able to talk to his customers like that. He handed me the phone and said the owner was on there. I didn’t take it because I would rather call the owner myself, to make sure I am really talking to the owner.
All we wanted was to get our quarters back!!!!
Very nice facility. Been there several times. Disability and heart transplant patient with a service dog. Attendant has very poor "people skills" and rude. Allowed children to run freely and unattended. Children upset my dog by running and jumping around my personal space. I have severe PTSD, dog training to bark and alert of this issue. Attendant rudely told me to not return. Stated to him that in attendant children is a safety issue and allowed under the American Disabilities Act to have a service dog in the facility unless posted. Never had a issue before anywhere. Contact my congressman on the issue and attorney. Definitely won't be back.
He did come up to apologize afterwards which was big and I appreciated it, but nobody should be treated like that by an employee. I was absolutely appalled. We will definitely not be back!
Aside from the attendants screaming child it is a nice place. Why anyone would sit outside and leave a child inside with a slightly older sibling I cannot fathom. The attendant even allowed the vehicle she is sitting in to take up two parking spaces directly in front of the door. As a disabled Veteran it really irks me that this business allows this type of employee behavior.
The staff is very courteous, the facility is clean and all of the machines are in working order. There's games and snacks to keep the kids occupied, and plenty of carts. I've had a great experience every time
