Hands down my favorite liquor store in Memphis. The staff is always taking friendly and helpful to new levels. The liquor, wine, and bet selection is top notch. They added a growler bar as well making Joe's an all in one stop for all your inebriation needs. On top of all this they've got that awesome Sputnik neon sign and you just can't beat that.
Nice, if inexperienced, folks. The old guy has the best stories from the 1970's! Sweet! Tales of Tom Petty, Big Star, et. al!
Joe's is pretty pricy, but has the best selection in Midtown with lots of staff to help you out.
Incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant staff. They are always will to go above and beyond. Best liquor store in Midtown Memphis in my opinion.
Great beer and wine selections. Beer club for my husband, wine club for me- ends up saving both of us money. The wine selection: significantly better than cash saver and Kroger, price is higher than cash saver, but since selection is so much better, that only matters if you are looking for a cheaper wine. Beer selection is also, generally speaking, better than cash saver(significantly better than Kroger). Whiskey/wine/& beer tastings weekly. The people are knowledgeable- if they don't know, they know someone on staff who does. Of course, they also have a ton of liquor and mixers you can't find nearby. As well as cheese and meat for your last minute party. Is it the best liquor store I've ever been to? Wellllll it's better than most, and vies for top with some east coast spots. I won't talk about the west coast. With liquor laws in mind- it's the best option for hundreds of miles.
