The Fire Museum is a hidden gem. I was there for my great nephews birthday party and the artifacts and history are no doubt,worth the trip. I

We took our out of town family here and the kids loved it so much they cried when we have to leave at closing time. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back and bringing others!!!
Very interesting museum, and something I've not seen in other cities (though they may well exist and I just never visited or saw them). They have some very cool historical fire equipment and engines, as well as an area where kids can dress up and play. The play area isn't particularly expansive, but my 3 year old played for almost 2 hours with his friends at a birthday party here and didn't want to leave because he was still having fun.
Tells the history of the Memphis Fire Dept. Great place to take kids, a lot of interactive activities for them. The fire room was pretty interesting.
