Great place, great atmosphere , great food, and great staff. Celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary in Memphis I decided to book Itta Bena to cap our weekend trip. It didn't disappoint. Upon arrival we were taken to a small, private room separate from the main dining floor yet part of the atmosphere. A very intimate, romantic place for the two us to enjoy our evening together. The waiter's service was excellent. Always checking in, taking care of us without request, yet not being intrusive. The shrimp and grits ordered by my wife and the my blackened snapper were cooked to perfection then capped with a delicious brownie desert. To the staff and managers of Itta Bena I would like to say thank you and see you on our next trip to Memphis.
I had dinner reservations here last night. Before,I headed over to the Grizzlies game. I was greeted,and seated. I got the crab soup,and the dinner salmon. Food was good.Only problem,I have with the visit. I had to ask the waitress for bread.Toward the end,of my meal. When, three other table near. Received bread. Without having to ask the waitress. So,in my opinion. If you're are not Caucasian. More than likely you're going to have, to ask for bread.

The food was delicious! The service was even better! We went out for our first year wedding anniversary and they gave us the full experience. We were given a private room without having reserved it. When being sat by the host, we were asked if there was an occasion we were celebrating and they offered us two complimentary glasses of champagne when we answered. We hadn't heard of this place before tonight, but I will be reccomending it to everyone now! Thanks so much!
Candle-lit, jazzy, romantic, seductive ambience with blue hues from Beale Streets electric energy. Service was above and beyond, thanks to Alex. Wine for the two of us with apps and salad. The pasta was tasty, but we felt the angel hair noodles weren't of quality. Still, an amazing experience. Thank you Itta Bena.
