Gave 4 stars bc I Love the atmosphere and the music is always great. But, wine in a cup violates wine drinking etiquette, just can't do it. Plastic wine glass will work.
Great food and atmosphere. Karaoke drew us in and once inside, it was very entertaining. Tried the catfish nuggets and pound and a half wings. Nicely seasoned and received a large portion for both dishes. Staff is friendly and mixed drinks are delicious. Will return!
OMG!!! EVERYTHING was delicious. The steak was mouth-watering, well seasoned, and so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. The catfish tasted like it had just been caught and prepared when it was ordered. So light and flaky. The mixed drinks were on point. The band was nice. Let me just say, I haven't stopped thinking about the food since I had it. I will definitely be back!!!
If on Beale Street you should check out Lew's. The gold hot chicken wings are very good, though not very spicy. The hot wings are also good. I enjoyed the breading on the wings which helps to soak up the sauce. Not the best wings in Memphis but great for a night out on Beale. The fried pickles were too salty for my palate. Serving sizes at Lew's are big! For this reason I think this is the best deal on Beale. Plates or lack of plates (only served in baskets) was odd. Also, the tables were dirty. Drinks are cheap for Beale ($3 shots, $5 beer). As for atmosphere when we were there on Thursday night there was a live band with no cover. Overall a good time.
