I bought a lot of stuff at Lowe's and up till now everything has been okay except in this store I went in to buy a circular saw and they had one on sale that was a porter cable for $39.95. I actually took a picture of the saw and the price under it and they had about four or five under the table in boxes of that particular saw. I got to the counter and she rang up $69.95. After I told her that was not the right price she called a manager and after about 15 minutes of research the manager said the serial numbers were different or some kind of number. That was the only Porter-Cable saw they had on that rack. I had a picture of it and I said this is the same exact saw it was sitting right under the display. He said no it is not but I will try to find you this particular one if you want me to. That's when I figured I was being jerked around so I should just forget it I will not be back in here again. I had rather pay twice the price somewhere else then I had to be jerked around by a manager at Lowe's. Sorry he made me lose confidence in Lowe's
Update: went in to the store to pick up the washer today, spent an hour getting lectured by customer service on how I need to read the fine print more fully, only to finally be told that the store does not have the washer I ordered (website said 2 in stock), and won't get a shipment in for another week. Got my money back (still going to take "some time to get credited to your debit card"), am going somewhere else, never to return.
the guy who mixed our paint was wonderfully helpful. it's when it came time to pay that the trouble began - every self checkout terminal had a screwed up POS system, so I had to move to three different terminals before it would let me pay. I watched the man next to me have problems with the terminal at his checkout line, requiring the assistant, and she still directed me to use that one next. plus the paint mix label wouldn't scan so I had to manually enter it each time too. it was incredibly annoying. fix your self checkout, please, it's supposed to be FASTER than regular checkout.....
This is the best Lowe's I've ever been to!!! Seems these days customer service is lacking everywhere, but not here. The people were so friendly and helpful, from the paint department to the bathroom fixture department to the customer service people. I would give this location a 12 on a scale from 1-10 !!! Thank you for going above and beyond!!!!
Just bought a washer from here, had a terrible experience. They advertised free next day delivery, so I chose to buy here instead of the appliance store near me. They called and told me that it would be 4 days to deliver. I attempted to cancel my purchase so I could just pick the appliance up myself at the store right around the corner, and was told I would need to either wait 15 days to get my money back or go to the store in person to get my refund. Very frustrated.
Great service! Darren Stuart in plumbing was so much help! Id give him a million stars if i could! He went out of his way to help us, thank you Darren!!! Lowes has a bunch of good employees but Darren by far is one of the best iv seen .
