First of all, the lawyer spent half of the time staring at his cell phone and messaging someone while I was describing my question.

The reason why I went to the Immigration Law Offices of Naini Jamie is because they offered a nice price for the visit: $75 for 20min. I had a short question concerning a green card process and thought that $75 was a fair price (other lawyers ask ~$120 per 30min).
I hired Jamie in June 2009 after I got some really bad news that my husband was going to have to go back to Mexico.I liked that he was up front with us about everything. We went to court in September and my husband was approved for his greencard. I liked also that a week or so before court, they called me to tell me what to expected. He was very honest with me and my husband. I know alot of people in my town so I have seent alot of people to him.They had nothing but good things to say, I see these bad reviews on here and I dont think it is the same person. The only thing I thought was bad was the 3 hour drive from my town to his office, but it was well worth the drive. I would recommed him a million times over. Oh and my husband did not have to go back.
Secondly, the rest of the time he spent being a showoff by rudely explaining things that I told him I already knew and by treating me like I was a stupid foreigner although I am probably more educated than he is.
I went to him, ended up in immigration jail in lousiana. He acted like surprised when it happened. Not a good lawyer, better to find someone else.
HE IS REALLY DISRESPECTFUL!!!! HE KICKED US OUT OF HIS OFFICE JUST BECAUSE WHEN I WAS TRANSLATING FOR SOMEBODY AND IT WASNT ON HIS PASTE !!! I NEVER SAW A HUMAN BEING LIKE HIM AS A LAWYER THAT WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. WE TOLD HIM THAT WE ARE CAMBODIAN HE STILL TRY TO TALK SPANISH TO US . OBVIOUSLY HE DIDNT KNOW HIS RACE AND NATIONALITIES AND HE A DAMN FOREIGN HISSELF. HE OFFENDED US IN MANY TO MAKE OT SEEM LIKE WE WERE UNEDUCATED. WHY IS HE A IMMIGRATION LAWYER IF HE DOESNT HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR PEOPLE? ESPECIALLY IF THAT PERSON OR PEOPLE THAT CANT SPEAK ENGLISH AND WHEN YOU TRY TO TRANSLATE FOR SOMEBODY HE WANTS IT ON HIS PASTE !! BUT HE NEED TO REALIZE HIS ONE SENTENCE IN ENGLISH CAN BE 2 WORDS IN OVER LANGUAGE!!! HE IS RUDE, ARROGANT, AND IMPATIENT!!!! PLEASE DONT HIRE HIM !!! HE ONLY TAKE CASES FOR WHAT HE THINK HE CAN DO AND CANT MAKE PROMISES BECAUSE HE CANT TRUST HIMSELF !!
During this 20 min, the lawyer got me even more confused, mistreated me, and behaved very impolitely. Money well spent!
