We spent the entire day here. The entrance gates themselves are amazing with the ornaments from blacksmiths around the world. Large kinetic sculptures in the yard with more forged fencing and exhibits. In the house/museum there are permanent and traveling exhibits. Then there is the blacksmith shop. Large in size there were 2 apprentices working on large projects. Coal forges, massive anvils, all the stuff you would expect. We talked with them for a long time about what they did and learned.
Not really a place to take kids. My kids were quite ready to leave. I however was quite interested in the many exhibits.
Super awesome visit today! Amazing place to visit. I will probably go back tomorrow since I am only in town for a couple of days. Jeannie and Sarah were great with their forging and casting demos! Great, great time!
Interesting place which shows that metal is more than just functional. The kinetic art was particularly good. The main downside is the place is a bit hard to find.
It was fun! Cute little place to go. Also nicely priced. 9/10 would go again..in a few years maybe.
