Jody came out offered a solution to my water problem. I greatly appreciate his honest solution which was that I do not need his help at this time. But if I ever do, I will call this company.
We have cracks in the brick above our garage door and also in our master bathroom. I contacted Olshan foundation repair to evaluate the problem. I'm happy to say that Jody came out, examined the issues, and gave both the cause and it's repair estimate. I'm glad that I called them!
I contacted Olshan because I wanted someone to take a look at the conventional foundation of my older home. When the woman I spoke with on the phone found out I had an "old" house, she told me they would not be able to help me unless I paid for a structural engineer's evaluation first. If my problem turned out to be minor or non-existent, why would I want to do that? How would they know if a structural evaluation was necessary if they won't even come out and look at your house first? She also interrupted me while I was talking. If it turns out I do need a structural engineer, I will not be calling Olshan to do the work. Not a good first impression at all. Disappointed.
My home had shifted and sank 3" on the west end and 2" on the east end. Olshan came out and leveled and stabilized my home. No more shifting. Very professional and man these men WORK. Highly recommend them for your foundation needs,
When Marty came and presented me with options for our repair he was skeptical that the repair would meet my expectations due to the problems associated with the foundation. We had bedroom doors that sagged so badly that they would not close/latch and a hallway floor that looked like a ski ramp. When these guys finished all of my doors would close and latch and the floor was vastly improved. Not perfect but WAY better than I ever thought it would be. The repair did cause sheetrock damage and I had been forewarned of that possibility by Marty. I hope I never have the need for foundation repair again but if I do, I'll call Olshan
Our experience with Olshan has been very positive. I received a very reasonable quote by Marty, great customer service by Tammy and a very fast and efficient repair by the work crew. The process was handled very professionally and Olshan maintained communication until the time we had our repairs completed. The only issue during the whole process was Olshan's need to reschedule the work to be performed which is always a pain for those of us with a 9-5 job. They are busy, because they are good!
