I likw the cupcakes staff is not always friendly and welcoming
Usually don't bother with negative reviews, but the owner of the Cordova store should know that the woman working this evening was not very pleasant. Unfriendly and no smile. Arrived at 6:30 PM tonight. They close at 7:00, but all barstools were on top of the tables. I took one down myself to sit. After my cupcake, I couldn't believe she let me put the tall, heavy wood chair back on the high table myself. I would have done it out of courtesy to her under normal circumstances, but this time I did it just to see if she'd say anything or offer to help. She knew what I was doing, because I bumped it a couple of times getting it into position. She could see and hear me but never paused from setting up the vacuum cleaner 6 feet away. A customer should not be allowed or expected to lift those large barstools up onto and from a high table. Not smart from a liability standpoint. Other restaurants don't close before they close. She should get a job hat she likes more than the one she has. She would be happier and so would customers. Yikes.
I visited this location on Sunday 6/18 around 1-2pm to redeem a free cupcake offer and to purchase an additional. For starters, I was not greeted at all. I proceeded to browse all the cupcakes. Then I noticed there was about 3 knots buzzing around the top tier level of cupcakes. The attention finally said something like .. let me know when you are ready.. (still no-welcome to Gigi's) .. I mentioned THREE times about knots flying around cupcakes. No apology .. no accommodations. Smh. Customer service was not good at all. I recommend the cupcakes being closed off with a door. Who wants a cupcake with bugs flying around them. Everybody knows these cupcakes has about 3 pounds of frosty on them, luckily I don't eat frosty. I ended up getting 2 cupcakes from the bottom tier, wipes the frosty away and was procrastinating on eating them. I tossed them. Please cover your cupcakes and train these young workers on customer service.
Delicious cupcakes! Friendly staff! A good place to enjoy a snack with your loved ones! Loved it!
I had my wedding cake done by Gigi's. Not only was it beautiful it taste so delicious. The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend for any celebration.
