Small resturant; one of few Vegan options in Memphis. Tiny open kitchen. I'm constantly impressed by the output. Always excellent service and incredibly yummy dishes! (I'm not a chip or nacho person but Fuel Cafe's Vegan Nachos are a personal fave of mine. The non Vegan nachos are tasty as well). Very reasonably priced menu. Outdoor and indoor seating. If you are wheelchair bound you will not be able to get into the inside of the resturant or the bathroom. If you see one of their food trucks out and about in the community go grab a quick bite, it'll be worth it!
As a primal eater, I'm thrilled to have a cafe in town that combines three of my favorites: whole food (including meat that isn't CAFO), a "Route 66" feel, and the location in midtown. Hard to beat. The food is not only nutritious, but delicious. Thanks and kudos to making a mark for health and pleasure with real human food!
Really good black bean veggie soft tacos with generous slices of avocado. Also had the big salad and the hippie sandwich on two prior occasions. All are fresh and delicious. The building is neat, too: an old service station with a cool redux spot to sit outside that feels like a homey patio. Fuel is just the pit stop for those seeking great veg food in Memphis. Helpful hint: Shoot for street parking along the main road.
Just ate here and the food is soooo good. The service was fast and the waitress, Cristin, actually asked how I was doing. Made my day. I’ll never forget my experience here and will be telling many folks about Fuel cafe in Memphis. The food was hands down the best quick vegetarian food I’ve had in awhile.
Had THEE most amazing lunch! The chilli and grilled cheese was amazing. It was so delicious I ordered food to go for dinner. So yummy!
