Lovely back porch area and great staff. I just wish there were more kinds of coffee beans. Great place to work or make new friends. Their carrot cake with cream cheese was delicious.
Still I give them an extra star because they had delicious coffee, gender neutral restrooms, a Rumi quote, and because the workers were incredibly diligent. Whenever they had a second away from customers, they were cleaning, restocking, wiping windows, etc. Props!

I normally love to study here! The coffee and snacks are great. Today, however, I was studying in the outdoor area and every now and then the area kept being overwhelmed with cigarette smoke. All the customers out there kept looking around and plugging their noses, and finally we left because it was so bad. I had assumed it was someone from one of the balconies above, but on leaving, we saw the employee sitting outside the front door smoking a cigarette. Definitely not in a hurry to study here again after that! So many dangers with secondhand smoke. Wish this problem didn't exist.
It's a nice little spot. Gave me hipster vibes though, and I don't really mean that in a good way, especially the deconstructed bagel. The bagel itself was a bit stale and though I thought using pickled onions in a Nova lox bagel was a creative twist, it was really overpowering.
