I recently took it to a shop and let a jeweler who is experienced in vintage jewelry take a look at my ring. I was immediately informed one of the smaller stones is a different cut than the others. At this point, I had not told them of my experience at Fast Fix. I asked which one and she pointed out the replaced one. So in the end, the stone was not like the others.

The Wolfchase store is usually very busy. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They changed the battery and I was on my way. My curiosity is why do my batteries not last longer? The batteries have been changed without a problem but the store is about seventy plus miles from my home. Driving to Memphis is a bummer at its best ! I wish the distances were not so far away.

I brought my vintage ring in to be resized a mere half size, on 10/29/17. I was told after they looked at it, it would be $60. A few minutes later, I was called and told it would be $80 because they just realized it is18k instead of 10k (although it clearly states 18k inside the band which is easily visible). The $80 also includes them keeping the gold cutout as well so that makes no sense if 18k is worth more than other standard karats. I needed it resized and had already dropped it off and although I feel they should have honored the price given before I left the store, I agreed to pay $80.

If not for her eagle eye, I likely would have lost my engagement ring Tiffany diamond of 62 years- I had no idea there were only 2 prongs holding it on. We went on a quest to repair the broken arm on my eyeglasses which they honestly said they could not fix. Highly recommend.

No other place charges more than $60, 18k or not. I went to Fast Fix because I wanted same day service and they had good reviews. I assumed I would be provided quality, fast service for what they charge. Had I known what all this simple resize job would entail, I would have just taken to to someone who knows what they are doing, even if it meant they had to keep it for a few days. The band is not complex and it should have been a easy, straightforward, small adjustment. Instead, I had to make three trips just to end up with a costly, shoddy job. That $80 was supposed to include a one year warranty which in my opinion, is not worth it and a full inspection .. which obviously did not happen. Lesson learned for me, unfortunately my ring, which holds a lot of sentimental value, is not the same anymore.

I pick up my ring a couple hours later right before closing time. At home, my fiancé and I are looking at the workmanship which was well below average. The back of the band was in a different shape and there was an obvious notch where it was cut. We were assured the resizing would not be noticeable. On top of that, one of the side stones fall out less than 24 hours later. I contacted them the next morning and they agreed to replace my stone since there is a warranty on the work. I bring it back on 10/31/17 and was assured the diamond would be like the one lost. I was told that they have lots of various stones and it will be an easy match. I made it clear that I want the replaced diamond to match the other small diamonds. I pick it up later that day and when I looked at it, I noticed the replaced diamond had no sparkle or life in it. It looked different. I asked about the type of stone they used. The employee said she could not answer that and all the jewelers have already left for the day. She said she would leave a note for one to call me the next morning. That night, my fiancé was able to pick out the different stone without knowing which was replaced.

Excellent customer service! Watch technicians were very informative and explain the problems with my watch. Very customer friendly!

On 11/1/17, I never received a call back. We bring thecring back for a third time. We asked why the diamond looked different. We were told they had no way of knowing if that was the one they replaced because they did not take pictures the second time I brought it in but they would switch it out. We were told that stone was chipped on the surface and that’s why it looked different. We asked them to also correct the poor work done on the resizing. They do replace the stone and correct the band. Although I was unhappy with the whole experience, I was glad they at least attempted to fix the problem. I could still look down and know which diamond was replaced but definitely looked better than the last stone that was put in. I chalked it up to my just knowing about the replacement so that was why I could identify the new stone.
