Its sad that buses in New Orleans wayyy better than Memphis! Drivers do what they want and customer service if thats what u call it
Just a reflection of the incompetence and ineptitude that is a part of larger Memphis. Exasperatingly slow and late.
Rude drivers, customer service representatives on the telephone and at the main terminal lack professionalism, integrity and customer service skills. The bus routes and time schedules are inconsistent, this bus service in Memphis is the worst I've ever encountered in any city traveled. And the sadness is, the city nor MATA dont care.
Waiting at a designated stop, according to the map, I waved the bus driver down, and she just gestured to go farther down the street. She continued down the road without stopping. More than twenty minutes until we saw her again. Also, FYI for anyone with different expectations--they accept only cash. What year is this, again?
