I really didn't learn anything from this driving experience here at all. There was an instructor named "Ginger" at this location that was really slightly annoyed while teaching me how to drive. However, keep in mind that this was my first time "EVER" being behind the wheel of a car in my life. The instructors kept saying that a simulator that I took before lessons were supposed to help me, but we all know that you need actual driving experience to really get a grasp on it! I didn't even get to drive on the simulator because they didn't give me the proper directions on what to do while on it. She didn't even know If I drove with her before, which was fine, but don't they have the paper to tell you that with some of my information on it? She also wanted to take me out on a highway to before even knowing if I drove before with them, which is dangerous! She also gave up 30 minutes in because she thought It was to hard for me to learn and got a new instructor to help me. Who does this to somebody's on their first lesson?
Terrible experience with my son. He completed the course, and for a month, we could not anyone competent enough to send his test scores electronically. Maxwell dropped the ball and failed to make it right. After two times at the DMV, the scores never transferred. Memphis is the only place that can take technology and still act like it's the dark ages. If you use them, stay on their behinds! Make sure they do what you paid them to do. They know How to collect the money, but unable to deliver on services in a timely fashion.
Now on to my experience..
These people stole 75$ from me I paid twice on accident and I never got my money back also the class I took I didn't learn anything at all we just watched videos of people dying in car crashes. It was just a scare pretty much for everyone
This is so unfortunate because I hate giving bad reviews. I was so excited to do my first lesson, but I was extremely disappointed/unsatisfied and won't be coming back.
Let me give you a little backstory before I start typing my unpleasant time at this place. I am over the age of 18, so this applies to my adult private lesson drivers. I never really got the chance to drive when I was younger because of family issues. I also lived on a busy intersection, so my guardians were always fearful to teach me how to drive. Therefore, I was always stuck on how to learn how to drive growing up.
Don't waste your time going to this school. They don't keep any record and this so called Michelle was very rude and Ignorant stating that they don't keep record of who passed and who failed in their school. What an illiterate set of individuals working @ Maxwell or the owner must be illiterate too. How can you own a school but don't keep records. You are not worthy of training a dog or cat to drive.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I know that everybody is human and we all make mistakes, but this was unacceptable.
The driving school program is fine, but if I'm paying $500+ for driving lessons for a minor, I at least want to deal with well-mannered, professional office staff instead of whatever the office staff at Maxwell is supposed to be. Completely unprofessional, rude, and slacking off during office hours. Otherwise, the curriculum is fine.
