I mean, seriously, there is something for everyone here. The wild rice dishes are healthy and delicious. One of the best catfish sandwiches in town. The marinated chicken sandwich is legendary. They have a PAINTING of a child eating their famous dessert, the hot fudge pie.
Westy's North End Bar and Grill. The most original restaurant in Memphis. Everything on the menu you could want. Always friendly service, Great Food, enjoyable atmosphere and all ages welcome. No smoking. Several tables out front where smoking is allowed. Located on North Main close to Bass Pro Pyramid.
I love it because my sister's sister works there, and for 25 years, the owner had been there every time I went.
Great live music later in the evenings, smoking is outside, safe for kids inside, accommodates groups well.
Great evening with Gina and the folks. My first Gumbo. Mega. And the beer is quaffable....it can go all night. So if you like great food, if you are able to down good beer in quantity and if you like a bar with character this is your place. And let us not forget brethren, never, their food is real, yes, it includes veg. Mega. This is the place to visit for comfort and reward. Yep, we finally found Westy's.

This is an awesome place, with GREAT FOOD and a very broad selection of beer. The service is ALWAYS OUTSTANDING, and it is family friendly or date night cool. I'd recommend any of their long grain- wild rice based meals -you choose what you'd like on the rice (meats like shrimp, chicken or beef) with or without cheeses and veggies (like onions, mushrooms, peppers, etc) and their Hot Fudge Pie is EVERYTHING GOOD
I went there this past thanksgiving and helped cook for the people in need with food. After the program ended and the places was open to everyone, i wanted to see if i could help cook in the for a few minutes before i left. So they said yes, and i started helping, they are one of the nices places i have been with the best people working there. Everyone should go check them out. They are the best!!!!!
