I wish I could give it 2 stars because our coordinator does seem like a nice person but the bad outweighed the good. Christi is very kind and nice to talk to and even told me a few times she was praying for me when storms were coming through. She should probably be saving her prayers for the companies they sub the work out too. They had Reindeer move my car long distance. The man who picked it up was great and professional and didn't smell. The guy who dropped it off, was filthy, had no teeth and BO and smoked. My car was filthy and smelled of cigarettes and BO. The trailer it was on was loaded with demolitioned cars. That is not in my opinion, my car being well taken care of. The movers we OK but a bit rude and told me a different story from when they left my old home to when we arrived at the new one. It seemed to change the deal to suit their needs and how fast he needed to be somewhere. Their moving blankets were covered in fuel I guess from the last move and I had to scream at them to take them off my furniture and then they wanted to put them in the truck with my things so I demanded they be put in my garbage. Our delivery was delayed due to him going home on the way for a few days and then the truck breaking down. He scratched my floors and refused to take responsibility for it. There were scratches on our furniture but we did already have a few so I didn't bother filing a claim. The storage that was arranged by Armstrong was the worst of it. You are not allowed to go with the delivery truck to make sure your things are accounted for, you are not allowed to access your things and its incredibly expensive. When our storage goods were delivered to our permanent home, an item that was a family heirloom that we could not handle moving ourselves was missing. All you get is file a claim. No one takes responsibility and we don't even deserve an explanation as to what happened to something that means a lot to us. They treat you like your crazy to think someone owes you an explanation and maybe an apology. Something that survived 92 years, many wars, illnesses, deaths and who knows what else, did not survive Nilson Storage. While most of the blame is on Nilson, I blame Armstrong as well. They are the ones that arranged our things to be stored there. They told me not to worry, my coordinator had a friend that worked there and she would personally see that our things were looked after. Armstrong may have a good rating and good reviews, but the problem is the people they outsource to, do not. Nilson does not have a great rating and many, many complaints especially from active duty military. Same with Reindeer. You trust that people will do the right thing, and that has not been the case with our move.

absolute professionals, quick and efficient. highly recommend

Wonderful moving experience! Danny and his crew were top notch!

I am not sure where to start, plan was to pack on Monday (Oct. 16th)...load truck on Tuesday. Monday Mike(the driver) and two men arrived and started to pack about 8am, by the time they left at 4:30ish not even half the house was packed. Tuesday morning got a call from Mike saying truck broke down and he would be there as soon as he could, in the mean time the other two men continued to pack. By 2pm Mike called saying truck would be fixed by morning and he would be there first thing in morning to start to load. I had already scheduled electric to be turned off on midnight Tuesday and had to still shampoo the carpets on 2nd floor. Mike instructed the other two men to get everything down from second floor so I could clean carpets while I still had electricity. By the end of the second day there was still quite a bit of stuff to pack. It was Wednesday at 7:30pm when everything was packed and loaded on truck!!! (Which still was not running properly). Once we located a house to rent, I called to arrange delivery on Nov 2nd. I was informed that our belongings were still in Florida and the truck had not been fixed yet. We were staying in a motel during this time so every day was costing us money. Jessica, our coordinator was friendly enough if you could ever get her to return your calls. Had to go above her to her mgr Mike. He graciously brought down a check to help cover the cost of staying the extra days in motel. We finally got our stuff delivered on Saturday Nov. 4th at 3pm. Mike and the three other guys got everything unloaded and unpacked what we wanted to by 8pm. After they left, my husband and I went to move our cars back into driveway and saw the truck had left two large indentations in the driveway, so now we have to deal with filing a claim (we are renting). This has been a true nightmare!!!!!, start to finish and it's not even over yet. My husband's employer FedEx contracts with this company we did not choose them. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! WAY TOO STRESSFUL!!!!

Armstrong was amazing on my recent 1500 mile move. They communicated every step of the way and were a pleasure to deal with.
