BRANDED ANGLER'S SPECIALTY SUPPLY PROfessionals: went here as part of checking out the outdoor equipment available for expanding the joy of being in the outdoors. I have visited this place once in the past some years back but it was part of a holiday outing. During this visit I was able to focus on what it offers for recreational and the serious outdoors person. The place function as more that a retailer but an "indoor" outdoors experience. It has a multitude of attractions to see while perusing for items to purchase or as part of a traveler's visit while in town. There are ponds with various fish species, an alligator display, fowl, various outdoor sports related arcade games, beautiful scenic wildlife decor and plenty of outdoors related supplies and clothing. Stop in and check it out and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the "indoor" outdoors...
Such a fun place at christmas! They offer free pics with Santa and the ability to purchase packages. The fudge place is amazing! We got gooey praline, heath bar, and chocolate peanut butter. We also got the glazed pecans that were outstanding! The smell of them draw you to the place! My son loves looking at the fish, ducks, and especially the alligator! Will definitely be returning soon!
This place is amazing. Worth the money to go to the top observation deck and also great food and drinks. This Bass Pro Shop also is a hotel. Next time I go to Memphis I plan on staying there. If i had know about it it would have been considered an option. Easy to travel with the trolley to Beale Street and have a great time. If traveling to Memphis Bass Pro Shop should be on your list of places to visit you won't be disappointed.
This place is so overly decorated, it's like an indoor theme park. Worth seeing, but the tens of millions of dollars spent on fake trees, lagoons, etc. make you wonder how much cheaper their prices could be. To get to the observation balconies at the top costs ten dollars per person (!) for the elevator ride up, regardless of whether you eat at the restaurant up there. The food at "The Loft" is reasonably priced, but nothing special. The views, of course, can be spectacular, depending upon the weather and the season.
Seriously worth the 11 hour drive from southern Virginia! This place is a site to see! The aisles between racks aren't very cart friendly, so wheelchairs would be a little nerve racking to squeeze through. The ponds were well kept and the fish were beautiful. Definitely a fan of their huge alligator gar and catfish. The fish feeding was entertaining for all the children and adults.
