Glad to have this service available but the wait was a bit excessive for the tests being performed (over 2 hrs for a CBC, chem7, and 2 abdominal X-rays). Additionally, the vet administered an anti-nausea and pain medication that weren't really necessary for an additional $75 and tried to give two anti-nausea pills at $12 per pill (google search showed ~$0.50 per pill of bought online). Again, happy to have the service available and willing to pay a premium for it but was displeased with the vet giving meds that my dog didn't really need. Vet (Dr. King) had good bedside manner and the staff were all very friendly. Overall, not a bad experience but I hate getting burned for an extra $75-100 of stuff that my dog would've been fine without.
I am so thankful for this place and the wonderful people who work here! I had to bring my dog in 2 weeks ago at 10PM for severely low platelets...so low that they found ZERO when doing a manual slide count. I was scared to death, her little body was bruising all over because of it. They took AMAZING care of her! They explained everything that was going on and what I could expect to happen. We were transferred to MVS's care and a week later, I got to bring my baby home! I have nothing but admiration for this place and everyone we encountered.
Brought our 14 year old Shitzu in due to observed arching of back and trembling. Waited about 15 minutes and was placed with our dog in an exam room. Told that they would be with us shortly. Waited 1 1/2 hours before they came in to read her vitals. Vitals were normal but our dog was in much pain. Told that shortly the vet would be in to examine and discuss. Waited another hour before he came in with a diagnosis. He said that he would prescribe medication and we could leave soon. Waited another hour and I addresses a tech. She responded in a rude manner and said that they had a few emergencies and we would have to wait. We waited and additional hour before they took her in for a pain shot. In the mean time our dog was in excruciating pain. After we again contacted one of the techs who responded in another rude manner, the Dr. Came back and gave us his final prognosis. We waited an additional 45 minutes to get the medication and pay our bill. In all total we waited 5 hours and 15 minutes. We will never bring our animal to this place again.
Very kind people. Took my cat in and they took us back right away. Sadly I lost my sweet boy to an obstruction but they treated us with respect and kindness. Just glad I found them in time to know my baby wasn't harmed in any way.
We took our dog there for an emergency visit due to an attack by another anima. The staff was friendly and attentive, but we felt they were very overpriced. The treatment they suggested would have run $3,000-5,000. We opted to take her home and wait until morning to see our regular vet. Once he examined her, I was thankful we waited. He believes she will heal without surgery and his cost was only a fraction of theirs. I truly felt like they had more concern over their charges than our pet.
