I highly recommend Dr. Bugg and the staff at The Pet Hospitals -- Poplar and Massey. I've owned, bred, and shown dogs since 1993 and will not let just anyone take care of my babies. I started with Dr. Bugg and staff upon the retirement of Dr. Blackburn and I've found them to be caring, attentive, friendly, and excellent. Importantly, I've also found them to be reasonably-priced. Cost is often the elephant in the room when people talk about veterinary care, but the simple fact is that some places are less expensive than others. Cheaper does not mean less effective, however, and it's nice to see that TPH keeps their prices in the reasonable range. All in all, I'm very satisfied and feel like my dogs are in good hands!

The staff is very friendly, relatable and so helpful, including the vets themselves. The annual check up is pretty cheap at 100 bucks and includes all shots and a once over that is very thorough. They usually have same day appoinments available as well. And who can beat $1 nail trims??
I love bringing my dog, Jack, to the Pet Hospitals for daycare and for vet care! The moment we walk in, he is greeted so sweetly and welcomed! The staff is wonderful to him and I feel so confident he is well cared for. I appreciate the informative communication I receive from the doctors and the staff. Jack actually loves going to the vet :)

Very nice people, genuine care and great communication! I highly recommend them as it's easy to get an appointment for a good quality facility with reasonable prices. They also have some specials for first time visits as well as specials for rescued pets!!! Dr. Pirtle was very kind to answer any questions we had with care.
We recently switched to The Pet Hospitals at Poplar & Massey. We took one of our dogs in due to an emergency. They quickly gave us a diagnosis and helped to calm us down! We immediately moved our dogs' records there and have been very happy with the service we have gotten. Dr. Bugg is extremely caring and knowledgeable.
