We just picked up 13 bikes for our Adopt-a-School, Oakshire Elementary from Clark and Kirby and the gang @pedaltownbicyclecompany. I had an excellent experience purchasing a bike and helmet this Sunday at Pedaltown! Any apprehensive feeling I had walking in quickly dissolved as the staff welcomed my partner and me immediately upon entering the clean, friendly shop. Kirby was very patient and thorough with explaining the different options of bikes (+helmets) that were available, and made sure that the style I selected suited my needs. He's also a fellow Midtown/Evergreen resident, so he was able to give me relevant insight on road safety and routes I can take to local hot spots, which was a big concern for me. I was pleased with how quickly the process went, and the pricing options aren't painful compared to other, less hands-on, shops around Memphis. The team in the glassed-in workshop was also very friendly and cordial, and I feel like I can be comfortable coming back in for tune-ups whenever needed. Once I'm up to speed (ha!) on my new bike, we'll be joining in on Sunday group rides, too! Thanks, yall!
Dropped in today to check out this cool shop. I was amazed with all the range of options and products they offered. Very family friendly shop and offering everything you need to get the family ready to cycle. We picked up a push bike and helmet for our little one and it was very affordable. This is the kind of bike shop the community needs. We were very impressed with our first visit and plan to return for all our cycling needs.
