I’ve read so many bad reviews about this particular Office Depot that I thought I would share my experience in November 2017. I was returning an office chair that was too small. I called them first to see if they wanted the empty box the chair came in. They did. Carried the box in and explained that I was returning a chair that had been in the box. The lady was very friendly and said she would go out to my car and get the chair. She brought it in and had a young man working the checkout process the credit. Both employees were very courteous and helpful. As a happy customer, I will continue to shop there in the future❗️
I have used the is store many times as a teacher for printing and such. It is HORRIBLE. Never falls to disappoint. Takes forever, unorganized, can not locate items ordered and not very friendly. Find somewhere else!
For the most part this is an organized store. Everyone was polite and professional except for an employee named Rachel. She was working the business section and when I came to pick up my laptop she was rude. Ignored me a few times even though another employee named Chris who was very polite and asked me if I needed help twice as well as getting her attention. Even if she was helping another employee which is what it looked like she could have said I will be with you shortly, not because I was standing in line but someone told her I was there and she looked me in my face. When she was finish with the other customers she just walked from behind the desk not signaling me or saying follow me showing that she was irritated. I did request a refund because they could not restore my laptop. They offered me the option of clearing the files and putting virus protection on my laptop, but wanted to charge me the same price. She was polite detailed and helpful a few days ago and today it was as though she was offended that I refuse their services due to them not being able to do what they originally sold me. Overall I feel like she needs to work on her customer service skills.
First off I want to say 99% of the time everyone here is super helpful, especially Jake the computer dude. However I just had my first bad experience from this short heavy set girl with nails. She first misinformed me that returns are not fully refunded if you don't have your receipt, but that was a lie. It was after talking to a manager and waitting a good bit that I was told I was getting my money best. Then after it was all said and done the amount refunded was wrong because she didn't refund all the merchandise that I had handed her. I'm going to make sure to avoid this individual
I would rather draw and hand in an etch a sketch then have to go to your business again. Absolutely terrible customer service. Not sure if it's the mentality of Office Depot employees or typical Memphis people. Rude, ignorant, and no customer service. I hope you go out of business.
