6. I spent over 5 hours for various reasons on the phone with them. I had to pretty much BEG to get a $75 refund for all the mistakes on the same day drop off and pick up. They made mistakes with same-day drop off and pick up both when dropping off my POD to load and when dropping off my POD to unload.

Overall, this was a completely horrible experience. I will NEVER use them again. If your purpose is to SELF load that is no helpers, and you plan to do it over an extended period of time or If you do not need your pod dropped off and picked up on the same day and If you don't mind having your items in transit for almost 2 weeks this could work for you. It did NOT work for me and the way they communicated policies was VERY lacking. I am a COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED customer and I am thankful that my employer is paying for this service. I don't think I could pay for this horrible service from my own personal money. I would refuse. Lastly, and very significantly there supervisors and representatives although very nice are not informed and every time I called it was necessary to completely restate previous concerns/ problems and pertaining all information. The customer service hours are quite limited if you want to call in the evenings. Do not schedule a service on monday because Sunday evening you will be unable to reach anyone at customer service. I strongly advise you please consider another company.

I want to know the general manager of Pods home address so I can order a Pod for the front of his house full of Horse Manure.

7. For Long distance moves expect 10-12 Business days of transit so if your going to be at your location before that you may want to go a different route or schedule so you are not at your house with no items like I was.

Storage containers are illegal on the streets of Memphis without a permit. This is a unpermitted container yet Pods (the only one that can move it) refuses to do so. The Memphis police informed Pods this

2. They overcharged my credit card by double totaling over $8,000. They did quickly refund it without my even asking. However that was not acceptable. What if I hadn't had the money on my card?

1.For my first pod it was same day drop off and pick up they picked up the POD when I was not there they did not call they came before scheduled window and the POD was not completely filled. When I called to complain they explained that the driver should have called and that I could have asked for a later pick-up time when scheduling. However, it had never been communicated to me that was an option as the schedule is emailed to you the evening before. FRUSTRATING also FYI you will have only a 3-4 hour window to load your POD if you choose same day drop off and pick up. They don't tell you this until the night before.

A neighbor rents a Pod and places it in front of MY house. It sits for two weeks. I call to see whats up and to get them to move it or give me a date. The Pod folks report they wont move it the unless the client tells them to or give me a date. Their client refuses to talk with me or the Memphis police.

Whew, expensive, but they moved it 1900 miles and nothing broke.

NOTE: The people at the Memphis branch were very accommodating and nice, sadly it was the corporate level that really made this a difficult and frustrating experience. I do not want you to go through what I went through find another company to move your items..

The police have a written report saying it obstructs traffic. There has been one accident attributed to this Pod. How can a business operate this way, outside the law, using the city streets to make money, to park their storage containers illegally, and then be arrogant enough to say basically screw you, we not moving it

4. They don't tell you when the POD will be coming until after 6:00pm EST the day before so if you are trying to schedule someone to help you load the POD it is virtually impossible and very stressful to work around this last minute type of scheduling.

SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE AND CHOOSE ANOTHER PORTABLE CONTAINER COMPANY. THIS ONE IS MORE EXPENSIVE AND THE COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT EFFECTIVE. THEY ARE UNORGANIZED AND MADE MULTIPLE ERRORS WITH MY ORDER! I have been very unsatisfied with PODS below I will list why:

3. when returning my POD to me They made a mistake in notation and did not correctly schedule my same day drop off and pick up. They actually scheduled to pick it up before it had even been dropped off!
