EZR is the absolute worst leasing company/property management company I have ever dealt with in my life. I lived in the Knickerbocker Apts last year while I attended graduate school, and while I lived in a newly renovated unit, the exterior was run down and dilapidated and quite literally falling apart! The gated entrance to the parking lot was almost always left open. My requests to have the bars placed on my apartment windows went ignored so I finally just quit asking. The absolute worst was when the shady construction crew was demoing the apartment upstairs and actually collapsed the ceiling to my bathroom while my dog and I were home! Luckily we escaped uninjured! Shocked and terrified, I immediately called EZR and their answering service answered and I alerted them of the emergent issue and never received a call back. After an hour, I finally called back and the EZR staff person who answered the phone had no idea what was even going on. Throughout that scary experience, the staff person or whoever they contract to manage the construction crew, Kim, tried to make me feel absurd for being so shocked and scared about my apartment ceiling falling through. Horrible, horrible people. Horrible, horrible service. I'm finally writing this review more than 2 months after I have moved out, because I have yet to receive my deposit refund check! This is a direct violation of the lease I signed! This company is ridiculous and unprofessional! They told me the check would be mailed by the end of February and have once again never followed through with their promises. In the past, leasing companies I have dealt with have been easy to work with and friendly and very accommodating. EZR has been difficult, rude, and negligent. I highly recommend you find another company to lease from during your time in Memphis! Especially if you're a young single female like me and want to feel safe, secure, and taken care of during your time in Memphis!!!
Management was easy to work with. Fast to respond to my request. Property owner has been very helpful and kind.
I just want to say Thank You to EZR and their new staff for the prompt and courteous attention to my needs as a resident of one of their properties. I love my house! And it's always nice when you are stressing about some issue to be able to p/u the phone and hear a kind smile on the other end willing to help you. THANKS AGAIN
Thank you for a truly stellar experience! I absolutely love my beautiful space at The Brinkley. The courtyard renovations are so nice. Upon moving in, I had a small maintenance issue that Rhonda helped resolve immediately. EZR - keep up the great work! I certainly appreciate it! :)
My husband and I have rented from this company nearly 4 years now and we took many things from this company because of the affordable price and location. Just recently they've decided to go up on the rent at the very last minute with no prior notice. We've had to reported them to BBB twice. Our apartment is small and very outdated. They lie. They're also unprofessional. Not a good customer service. Not to mention we had to report them to BBB in order to get them to fix maintenance problems in timely fashion. We went three months without an oven and I was pregnant and we have a disable son whom is on a special diet. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Terrible.
