Good ole fashioned beer bar with incredible food. Duel jukeboxes with a mind blowing deep library and a deep, warm tone. Comfortably worn in asthetic while being clean and smoke free.
This is the neighborhood bar you've been looking for. Rock, the owner makes you feel at home, and the beer is cold. The jukebox rocks, and there is a ton of screens to watch your game, the other game, and the other other game. The only cons: there is only beer and it's a smoking bar. I don't smoke, and it's never been bad enough to bother me in there. Open late and the open even later. Alex's is Memphis's oldest tavern, and there is a reason.
Great place. Friendly, awesome wings burgers and etc, COLD beer, great tunes (jukebox) and old school charm. Include 5 different screens for sports.....love it.
NFL ticket and multiple large screens for those of you striving to see out of market teams.
The food is pretty solid. Its a good place to go if you need a real late night spot. Beer only, which is not that great for non beer drinkers like me.
