This is good old-fashioned breakfast cooked the right way... The servers and the Kooks always make me feel like I'm at home... Yes it's an old building but the people there make you feel very comfortable and they're always glad that you came. Also the waffles hash browns basically everything on the menu oh and especially the patty melt are awesome... this it the number one place for me for breakfast.
This place charged me 3 dollars to pay for my food with my debit card. This worst part is they didn't tell me I was being charged an ATM fee to use my debit card. Also nothing I order was right when it came to the table. The ladies in the kitchen pretty much make what they think you should have and not what was ordered. BUYER BEWARE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! And also I smelled of grease after leaving!! Very poor ventilation system!

The charge that they charge to your debit card is given right back to you in change. They do not keep that money. The way the machine is set up, if your meal is $7.00, the machine's options are $10, $15, $20, you select $10 & they give you $3.00 back.
not a bad place to go super late. the food is ok but nothing to write home about. If your out late or up early there are many places you could go that are better.
I asked for the famous Paul Bunyon Breakfast , which includes bacon, hash browns and 2 eggs. The hash browns were fried to hard. I asked for egg whites only, fried hard. There was egg yolk included in the eggs. The coffee is very weak. This was not a good experience.
Whatever you ask for, you get.
