When we arrived, I was not impressed. When you walk in, it has the dirty rag smell and old worn out decor. We were met by an older Chinese lady that barely spoke English. She showed us to our table, took our drink order and handed us a menu. The menu was pretty much the same as every other Chinese restaurant in America. We ordered our drinks and ordered an appetizer, the pan fried dumplings. They took a note while to cook and they were very fresh and delicious. They were some of the best I've ever had. I ordered the cashew chicken. The portions are very liberal, the food is hot, fresh and delicious. Most Chinese places cook all the food at once and reheat it as it's ordered. This food was made to order and fresh. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and delicious. This is hands down the best Chinese place in Memphis. A diamond in the rough. It doesn't standout at all, and they could definitely use some marketing help, but the food was on point. A definite place to try.
Have eaten there many times. The food is always great. The peppered beef short ribs are my favorite, along with the house fried rice.
Spicy salt chicken wings appetizer was great. Friendly staff as well.
Nice food ..... easy on pocket and have option for honkong style of cooking or american style ... yummy
I've lived in Memphis for 7 years and I've never been impressed with the Chinese food here. Good Chinese is so hard to find. I found this place by doing a quick Google search and saw it had a high review score. I read the reviews and everyone loved it. I thought we would give it a try.
Nice atmosphere tasty food friendly staff same food different cooking style .. Honking and Anerican style of cooking.
