Food was good. They accommodated my church group when we came in from the St. Louis area. It was our 1st time eating there. Everyone enjoyed their food. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the food wasn't hot enpugh and some of the side portions are small. But the food is pretty tasty!!!
We were visiting from Dallas and my binus son searched for soul food in the google search engine and Kountry Cookin did not dissapoint. Good quality food with great service. I had the smothered pork chops with mash potatoes and cabbage. The gravy was delicious and really tasted homemade. Oh and they had the best sweet tea.

I felt like I was home. Although it was busy everyone was happy and very quick with service. The food was all on point. I ordered the turkey, mac n cheese, green beans, and lemon cake. If you want some real Soul Food, not all the new wave "gourmet" imitations. Go see these beautiful people.
Local secret. Get in the cafeteria line and get served with helpings of luscious ribs, savory dressing or perfectly fried chicken. Incredibly friendly staff and we even made a few friends before we left. Hands down one of the best soul food treats in Memphis.
The food I got was really good! Only been once. I don't sit down and eat out often, but I do plan on going back. And it was alot of people coming in as I sat down. So I guess others love the food as well.
