Today (11-5-2017) my husband and myself with a few friends ate at this restaurant (8325 US-64 Memphis) and we were greeted well at the door, 35 minutes later we got our table, 20 minutes later we got our drinks, then we waited 50 minutes for our food. The restaurant was empty. One entire side of the place was empty that's why we thought we would get our burgers and fries fast. But no. The workers were slow, leaning on things, looking at their phones or just standing around. The manager was afraid of them because she sure didn't ask them to do anything. It was an atmosphere of do what you want when YOU feel like it. And our waiter offered no apologies. He had an attitude ready to unload on us if needed.
First, I knew it was going to be a bad experience when my shoes were almost sticking to the floor. The floor was incredibly sticky like it has never been cleaned since last week. The table next us was dirty with a dirty knife on the floor that the host didn't bother to pick up. We did so so no one would get stabbed. The table was never cleaned the entire 2 hours we were there. The waitress was nice at first then progressively started to have an attitude as we had to ask for more thing because either it took 10 minutes to get to the table or it was forgotten about. The restaurant most have been severely short staffed due to a girl in a nursing school uniform gave us our silverware and asked if we needed anything else.It took about 10 minutes to get the refill we asked her for. All of our food came out warm except the fries that were cold and looked like they sitting for a bit. Besides the cold fries, the hamburgers were actually decent but not order again worthy. None of the drinks were priced correctly apparently due to we ordered them past the time they were available, however we could see they were being ordered a lot after we requested them.The table was overcrowded with plates and empty cups that were only filled once after being asked multiple times.It was good forbidden to ask for anything like napkins. It was our first and last time coming back.
We will never come back, Ever. And we will tell all of our friends about you. There are so many places we can go dressed in our Sundays best with a pocket full of money.
Do NOT go to this restaurant if you’re planning on paying with your debit or credit card because the workers add in their own tip amounts. My friend and I went on two separate nights and were waited on by different people yet we both had unauthorized tips taken from us. My friend contacted the restaurant on her unauthorized charge and the manager informed her that the waitress had been fired. Being that there was a different waitress on the second visit, I’m curious on his response when I call about this matter. On both nights, service was also horrible waiting 30+ mins on a server to come to our table to even take drinks orders. If you choose to eat here, pay cash or expect the workers to take their own discretionary tips and expect very poor service.
I have visited the TGI Fridays on HWY 64 in Cordova, TN twice and both times were trash. The first time was a call in order, the steak was cold hard and inedible and the ribs were old dry and disgusting. The second time we made the mistake of choosing to dine in. Needless to say, this experience was horrible as well. When were FINALLY seated, we sat there 30 minutes with no waiter, water or anything. After 15 more minutes we asked to speak with a manager. After waiting for him, he appeared and of course he apologized but he looked like he was high or strung our on drugs. I don't think he even understood our complaint, he started apologizing before we could finish as it if was rehearsed. This type of behavior is unacceptable. There were employees/children all over the place talking and playing but definitely not working. I will not be returning to this or any other TGI Fridays location. I am done.
Our Waiter Jason is awesome BUT it took 25+ minutes to get a burger and an endless appetizer. Ordered the burger medium and it came out well done. Endless app refill was place when original order was picked up by waiter. It took another 20+ minutes to get refill. I'm saying + because it has been 21 so far.
