The employees at Auto Universe were wonderful to work with. It was truly a great and hassle-free experience. They were extremely knowledgeable about the Jeep we were trying to purchase for our daughter. Due to time constraints on our part, the owner himself drove the car out to Collierville for us after hours. They went above and beyond to ensure we got just what we were looking for, and helped us pull off a huge surprise for our daughter. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Five star buying experience! I’ve spent weeks searching for a specific luxury model, used car. I found a few selections around Memphis that peaked my interest, but the cars were either out of my price range, or did not have the bells and whistles I wanted. After what became an exhaustive search, I remembered my bank, USAA, had a car-buying program where they recommend cars from a USAA certified dealership. When I typed in my criteria, USAA matched me to a car found at Auto Universe on Covington Pike. Auto Universe is a very small dealership that specializes in luxury vehicles. Now… I have to admit… I’ve always been apprehensive about purchasing cars from a small, independent dealership – but the pictures of the car posted online looked fabulous, and the dealer was listed as “certified”, so I decided I would check it out. From the time I walked through the door the staff was AMAZING! The owner, Sunny, happened to be standing at the entrance and was extremely welcoming. He greeted me and asked me what car I was interested in, then proceeded to tell me all about the make and model of the particular car and why he felt the car was a good choice. While I briefly waited, the receptionist gave me a bottled water and made sure I was comfortable. The salesman, Greg, soon introduced himself and was very knowledgeable. He took his time while walking me through the car, which was much appreciated. The car was even more gorgeous than I originally thought and to my surprise was slightly less than the Kelly Blue Book value. The exterior and interior were both in pristine condition, the tires were in excellent condition, and best of all, the car came equipped with the top of the line “ultra” package (with ALL of the bells and whistles I wanted and more!). After the test drive, I was SOLD on the car, but my final decision would depend on what Sunny was willing to give me for my trade-in. I was already prepared for a low-ball offer, (which seems to always be part of the sales game), but Sunny offered me $1k more than what I expected! He was more than fair and even offered to purchase my vehicle if I decided not to purchase a car from him. Needless to say, I called my husband immediately and told him I had found the car I wanted. To add icing on the cake – Sunny offered me an extended warranty for a very reasonable price that covered the car virtually bumper to bumper for five years/up to 120k miles. What? Covered virtually bumper to bumper? That is unheard of! Most dealerships will only cover powertrain and transmission. I found myself looking for a “catch” – but turns out Sunny was sincere in trying to provide the most value along with outstanding customer service. I can honestly say this was my first car buying experience where I didn’t feel like someone was trying to get over on me in some way. I never felt the need to haggle, I never felt pressured, and I never felt cheated. The finance specialist, Peter, made the purchasing process easy. The entire staff is attentive and courteous. So how were they able to offer a good deal? Sunny explained that he is able pass on savings to the customer by having a small, no frills dealership and minimal staff. Makes sense! And made me one happy customer! Thanks for a pleasurable car buying experience! I absolutely love my Lexus E 350 Ultra!
This dealer was great!!! Customer service welcomed me with open arms, and treated me as if I were their family. They really paid attention to my budget and interests in cars. I recommend this dealership to other people when I get a chance.
