Great customer service! Everyone was so polite and willing to help in anyway! Felt so comfortable being there and asking questions about BMWs. Service levels expected from a premium brand!
The day after I dropped my car off, Dan called to let me know that the burning smell was due to a host of other issues and quoted me $2600 in repairs. I couldn't afford them, so I had to pay the fee for diagnostics. Dan assured me the car had been washed, but when I arrived I saw it hadn't been washed at all. They put it through the wash for me then, and when I left I noticed some new scratches on my driver's side passenger door.
My name is Jennifer and I am a service advisor at BMW of Tyler. I had a guest break down in the area and Roadshow was the closet BMW. Richard Thomas was his service advisor and took EXCELLENT care of him and his daughter! They serviced the vehicle quickly and got him back on the road. Thank you Richard and team for all your hard work!
They try to push you to do the stuff that's unnecessary. They told me my valve cover is broken and need to replace it. According to my knowledge, its perfectly fine because I didn't loose any engine oil after driving 2900 miles. They also told me other things needs to be fixed to get more money. I agreed just to make them happy. I usually fix my own small problem. I also Hard time because first they said that eccentric shaft sensor is not covered but after I told them about the California emission law, and contracting the BMW USA ,they told them it's covered. Then they called me to make appointment.
Hands down amazing service. Stan thank you so much for all of your help and I look forward to doing business with you again
My service advisor, Dan, was plenty friendly and polite, but my overall experience was poor. I went in because I was worried that the parts that had a safety recall on them were acting up due to a burning smell in my car. They got me in immediately since it sounded like it could be the recalled parts. On the phone when I made my service appointment, I wasn't told that I would have to pay $140 ($168 with tax) for diagnostics if it turned out that the burning smell wasn't related to the safety recall. It wasn't until I was sitting at the service advisor's desk ready to sign the paperwork that I learned this.
This was just 6 days ago, and since then I've traded in my BMW for something less expensive to maintain. My experience with the service at BMW dealerships is that they're out to extort money from customers above all. That's the primary reason I no longer wanted to drive a BMW. If you have the money to maintain yours and keep it looking pristine, more power to you.
