Long 2 hr waits for your appointment. Scheduling my procedure was a pain with the nurse as well-as she forgot about it for a whole week. I had to call and remind her and then wait a few more days for her to "get her ducks in a row". The doctor ultimately wasn't able to give me any sort of diagnosis after the procedure, but still charge me an out of pocket follow up office visit of $60 to tell me he basically doesn't know, can't help me, and can refer me onto a sleep study, but my problem doesn't indicate that sleep is the issue. I don't know why a doctor that knows he can't do anything for you-would still make you come in to the office, wait 2 hrs for your appointment, and then take your money.
I went to see Dr. Bierman today. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor that truly cares about each and everyone of his patients. he's a great doctor and I would and will recommend anyone I Know and don't know to go to him. I have heard noting but good positive things about him for many years. My family goes to him friends and their families and friends. I would not go to just any doctor and he is a wonderful doctor. The Nurses Are Great As well.
Dr Bierman did my colonoscopy. I thought his bed side manner and professional conduct were top notch. I feel like He gave 100% , to make me feel comfortable and understand the procedure. Would def use again.
I have been very ill since last November and have been to so many different doctors that nothing but a multitude of drugs to "live with" my problem instead of a plan to help heal it. I had the pleasure of getting to see Dr. Bierman because I had come to my appointment on the wrong day. He gladly worked me since my doctor was not there and did my colonoscopy that I had planned for for two days. I certainly didn't want to wait for another week. He found 12 precancerous polyps. He said they would be cancer in one year. He saved my life today. He was so kind and acted like I was the only patient he had to see. I hate to see the bad reviews about having to wait. I think when a doctor takes time with his patients and really learns from them about their health it takes time. I will come prepared to wait because at Gastro one they are really fast and that's because they just brush you off and don't offer half of what this office offered me. I will always be grateful to this doctor because I was not due for a scope for 4 more years. He is the best! Thank you doctor Bierman!
Professional is all I can say. Dr. Bierman knows his stuff. The staff was awesome.... Sam the anesthesiologist was great...
