Dr. Augustus is patient and provided ample time for me to describe my issues. Dr. Augustus ask's great questions and allows me time to respond without being rushed.

After several months of coming in, they never listen to what I say. I have been diagnosed with depression, and I was trying to get help to get on the right medication for me. She put me on a medicine, and when it didn't work she just upped it till I was on the maximum dosage. My Suicidal thoughts got worse and her response was well at least your sleeping so stay on it. Then she said I should be able to think myself out of those situations. If I wanted to be told it was all made up in my head I wouldn't be trying to get help. THEN they changed buildings and never called me to tell me they moved, so I showed up to my appointment only to find out they weren't there. I tried to call and get their new address and I got put on hold, the lady was extremely rude, and then says she has been calling me and my voice mail wasn't set up so I should really set it up. My voice mail is set up, the number she was calling was not my number it was the emergency contacts number. They have called me several times on my actual number and I have answered every time. So i tell her that I won't be coming back, and she asked me why, then argued with my reasons. I have all my paperwork showing that I had a schedule time and place, they change it with out me knowing then charge me for not showing to the new place that I didn't know about. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone who actually wants help.

UPDATE: I tried to visit this office too. They said they took my insurance when I made the appointment but when I got there I found out they didn't. I saw the doctor anyway since I had moved my work schedule around to get to this appointment. When I talked to her she didn't ask me about the symptoms I said I was having instead, she had already decided I had anxiety and asked me questions in a way to fit the diagnosis she had already made. When I told people who know me well that she thought I had anxiety problems they laughed because that is not like me at all.

While I cannot speak about the physician's technical abilities, the management of the office practice is questionable. Our experience stemmed with a new appointment. It seemed strange they asked for a credit card to place on file up-front before even making the first new appointment. Given it is required in order to enforce a no-show policy, that was the first red flag. Our appointment was made a significant time in advance, and of course with a busy schedule, we forgot about on the calendar until they automatically charged $300 for the "missed visit". In general, a friendly reminder the day before the appointment is standard in the medical community to decrease the no-show rates. Fortunately for this practice, it is to their advantage to not remind patients because of the lucrative fee they liberally extract from your bank account. We received no reminder. When we called the practice to reschedule the needed medical appointment and request reimbursement for this borderline unethical charge, the receptionist was very unfriendly,"matter of fact", and not helpful at all. We called to request refund without avail. There was certainly no offer to reschedule the appointment, and we are left abandoned with an untreated medical illness. I would discourage anyone from going to this practice based solely on our experience, because it leads to question their medical mission of how they care for patients. Seeking care here comes with a high financial risk that places additional burden on patients. Lost productivity for no-shows is completely understandable in the medical field, but this practice has taken it too far.

Only go here if you have anxiety as that is the only thing she will diagnose you with.

Dr Augustus helped my husband with his anxiety. She gave him medicine so he could see the problem clearly and then helped him see the root of the issue so he could deal with that so he would no longer need the medicine..

Horrible office manager!!!! My husband is a military veteran and was treated very poorly. He was informed by the office manager that he would have to pay $100 before the appointment and would get his money back when Tricare paid. He called Tricare and the Tricare representative explained that because the doctor has a contract with Tricare the military members should not be required to pay before the office visit. The Tricare rep asked him to have the office manager contact them to iron out the discrepancies. When my husband called the office manager to relay the message, the office manager rudely REFUSED to call Tricare! Not to mention the day before when my husband called to make an appointment she told him she would have to call him back, she couldn't make him an appointment because she was too busy!!!! By the way, she never did, he had to call her back and now she's rude and unwilling to help in any manner!!! Way to support your military members who have fought for your freedom, and in doing so have seen things that have affected their lives and the lives of their entire family forever! So when they ask for help and finally agree to seek help, I would hope that a psychiatrist'a office would be understanding and somewhat kind and helpful, but instead you feel the need to be as uncooperative as possible.
