Worst hospital ever. I went in because i couldn’t talk nor move. Waited 2 hours just be seen in a chair and when I went back to a room in the ER, They stuck me too many times to find a vein without even taking the time to find one. Also the doctor who seen me in the ER had the nerve to tell me that I was faking and whatever I’m doing I need to stop. Why would I fake just to come to the hospital where I have to pay?? Really. Never going back to that unprofessional place.
This is the slowest place to be called as E.R. Wait time at least 3 hours and don't do anything to help you feel better while waiting. A person could literally pass out while waiting to get seen. Next time I'm sick I'll rather go across the city to get better service. Something has to be done immediately. People's health is at risk!
I went there almost 2 weeks ago for pains in my hands and feet. They took blood and urine and left me in a cubicle like room only to go back and forth with the diagnosis. After finally, deciding on diagnosis I was sent home with a script for medication that either is not working or is making pain substantially worse.
I went here a couple of weeks ago because I thought I was in preterm labor my stomach and lower part of my body was in pain. I have a history of having preterm labor. The wait time was not so bad in the waiting area. I did have to wait in triage just for a doctor to clear me to go up stairs to maternity. When I got upstairs no bed was available so I had to wait about 20 min until they cleaned the rooms. After that I was placed on the monitor for 30 minuets and then the nurse came in said I was not having contractions and I could go home and take Tylenol. I noticed that everytime I felt what I thought was a contraction my baby heartrate went up. They didn’t take any lab or urine. Thankfully I had a doctors appointment the next day I found out I was extremely dehydrated. My issue is that if they had taken urine they probably would have known and maybe hooked me up to an iv or told me to go home and drink much water as possible. I will not be delivering here I rather go Baptist in Desoto county. I have never went to labor and delivery and they don’t take at least labs to see what is going on.
I don't think the doctors in the ER or labor and delivery are even real. Somebody need to check this hospital for real. My husband had pain in the throat and couldn't eat because every time he try to swallow his food it was hurting his ears and throat. The so called nurse not doctor but nurse didn't run no test and said oh I'm pretty sure its allergies and I'm not gong to prescribe you no antibiotics because allergies clears up on its on. We got discharged papers and left. The next morning my husband woke up with a rash on his face and neck, and could barely breath still couldn't eat. I called the paramedics and they took him to St.francist he had a bad case of strep throat. Now why didn't Methodist south run no test took no blood or nothing. We waited 3 hours in the wait room and got discharged in 23 minutes to be exact. But the next morning St.Francist took good care of him. I'm calling BBB or somebody because I got paper work from Methodist saying allergies then the next day I have papers saying strep throat from another hospital. My husband got better an hour after being at St.Francis. I called Methodist to get test results of my husband urine and blood and just like I thought no records of no test for that day.
