Rooms were clean. Lobby appeared to be recently renovated. Beds were comfortable. Stayed 5 nights. Room service only provided one night, even after asking. Elevator kept malfunctioning. Breakfast just ok but it is a full breakfast.
We were at the hotel for the Gideons Bible Blitz.
Everything was great. Breakfast buffet was the best. The server for breakfast was amazing. Front desk staff was awesome.
My first room wasn't clean-- it looked like it hadnt been vacuumed. The face of one of the drawers fell off when i tried to open it. I got a different room. It was a little better, but still had problems with cleanliness. It was loud at night. The exercise room is really good. Breakfast was good. Just need to work on rooms and elevators and parking lot.
We have stayed at the Crown Plaza over the years and have had a very pleasant stay everytime. We love to bring our children to swim in their heated indoor pool. We are aware that they are under construction so that was not a problem. The pool this time was very very cold and we have always been very pleased with their pool. The girls were very disappointed because our trip to the hotel was just for them to have a great time at one of our favorite hotels. We still love the Crown Plaza and the remodel on the rooms look great. I just hope they heat the pool back up like it use to be.
Hotel is undergoing renovations and doing the best they can. Our room was updated except for carpet. Halls very warm. Had to use a credit card to get a coke, water from coke machine-ridiculous! Had to pay $7.00 for breakfast buffet, which was very good. Magnolia at the front desk was wonderful as was everyone working there that we came in contact with. Parking lot in bad shape. Need to go to Poplar Ave for good choice of restaurants.
