This doctor is very unprofessional and weird (nice word). He is very slow and never take anything serious. I had an appointment at 2pm and was seen at 5:15pm. When I tried to complain about the long wait he refused my service and put my chart back into the door and told me until I get over it he will move on to the next person. I assumed he was playing because he play too much and never came back. I over heard him say " he is not having his today". So I walked out after awaiting for 60 seconds to see if he was going to come back in and to my surprise he was serious and went to the next patient. He is very rude and never apologized. My next step is contacting the BOARD to file a complaint & also reporting him to BBB. I am a paying patient as well and will not tolerate this kind of treament from a professonal person at all!
Waited a while but worth the time and quality care I received
I accompanied my best friend to Dr. Duberstein's office on Friday, July 20, 2012. She rant and raved about how great of a doctor he was, so I was really excited to meet him. We arrived there at 2pm and were not called to the back until 5:15pm. My friend remained quite calm despite the long wait and no prior knowledge of the long waiting time. Once we got to the back, we had to wait once again in another waiting room, and then we were finally in a room. Dr. Duberstein came in and stated b/c my friend was irritated with the extremely long wait that he would not see her, and he put her chart in the door and while she was asking him to come sit down and let her speak to him about the front desk, and while she was talking he shut the door in her face. Once the door was closed he told one of his nurses "he is not dealing with this today." After waiting for about a minute or so my friend opened the door and sure enough the doctor had proceeded with another patient. My friend asked again if he was refusing service and he didn't respond. As we were waiting on them to process her refund, Dr. Duberstein stormed out of the patient's room and came towards us pointing his finger and stated..."listen here, if you just calm down I will see you." Then he grabbed my arm and tried to force me out while I was waiting for my friend. I have never in my life seen this type of unprofessional and disrespectful actions by a doctor. I wouldn't recommend him if he was the last doctor on earth. He is rude and as you have read feels he can treat his paying patients any kind of way as well as put his hands on people. He needs to be banned from practicing all together b/c the treatment we received was terrible! If you want an unprofessional and rude staff the Duberstein Sinus Center is the place for you!!!!
Larry Duberstein 0 Stars, HIS son Aaron Duberstein 5 Stars, but I don't think his son works there anymore........ Larry kept making jokes about how glad he was to see me in there sick because he has bills to pay and the more I kept coming in the more money he made!!!!!!!!
Dr. Duberstein repaired a hole in my eardrum that I was born with. That was over 34 years ago. I went to see an ear specialist today in Asheville, NC. He just raved over the awesome job that Dr. Duberstein did.
