The first night at Econo Lodge in Memphis my daughter and granddaughter were bitten badly by bed bugs. the toilet did not work completely and when we went to breakfast there was nothing available (no milk, waffle mixture, yogurt, had boiled eggs, butter, cream cheese, etc.) You had dry cereal and bagels. Management were not very friendly or helpful.

Hotel is what is expected. Cheap hotel in a decent location. If you stayed at an Econo Lodge, this isn't anything different. The cleaning lady is helpful, but the night time clerk was the least bit helpful. We booked the hotel for 4 adults in one room and told them this when we checked in. The rooms are equipped with 3 towels and 3 wash clothes. We did not realize this until the next morning. We went down to the clerk to ask for some more at 530am, and he said that's all they have. I would have to wait until 8-9 for them. Not what you expect when you pay for a hotel for 4 adults. On top of that the bathtub is pretty much stopped up and the linens had cigarette burns in them. The ceiling in the bathroom looked like gravity was going to take hold and fall in at any moment.

The sheets were a bit stained but otherwise the service was very good and the rooms stayed warm at night, great for the cold weather!

It is what it is, a budget hotel to get a quick night of sleep. The room was slightly dirty and smelled like smoke (non smoking room) and the bed wasn't amazing, but those were our expectations. Elevator was also broken so it was a walkup to our room.

I checked into my room and the clerk was very rude he over charged me and kept telling me I need to deal with choices because he was not going to change anything. I went to my room the blankets on both beds had burn holes all over it. Went to clerk and he tells me that I can just deal with Manager the next day while sitting down on couch I felt some thing in my hand and I looked it was a bed bug now I was only in room for bout 45 mins and I went down to clerk asked if he would call manager explained it was bed bugs and that I would not could not stay in that room his response is you can just call choices tomorrow and they can deal with the situation. I then went back to the room got pictures and video and took it back down and clerk said pics and video don't mean anything and with an attitude said he would not get the manager. It took me almost an hour to get something done but the 2nd. Leek that can I'm was very pleasant and he did help but the fact that bed bugs were there I would say be very careful I won't be returning to here or personally any choice hotel. Rude staff and bed bugs
