The hotel is in a business aerea. You need the car to move to restaurants and so on. There is nothing near by. The people in the hotel are very nice and friendly and helpful.
Nice look from outside so I thought it was good inside.It is ok rooms were nice but I found nasal mucus on the room wall and the Wi-Fi wanted some access code that I did not get.This place is good for one night but don't stay for long.
The price was good and the staff was amazing. They were very accommodating. Just wish we had known about the flooding prior to booking our room. The building not so much. It looked as if the place recently flooded and it had a strong smell of sewerage in the halls.
I enjoyed staying at the hotel. But the next time I think I will stay more in a place where are restaurants around to eat good food and have a good beer.
I always book this hotel because it's close to the facility that I work at when I come to Memphis. However, this time around and I believe a couple other times the room smelled strongly of sewage. It was clearly coming from the bathroom. I believe that it is a sewage pipe venting issue. Room 321.
Nice hotel. Comfortable and quiet. Clean and the staff was professional with the exception they didn't tell me there would be a $50 deposit on my credit card. I asked about the deposit on day two and found out there is a sign on the front counter that most people probably don't read. Maybe a simple verbal notification that your credit card would be charged a deposit would be appropriate. I saw an earlier post about this same situation. Other than the minor issue with the deposit, Great stay. Gym was decent also. Outdoor pool closed due to time of the year I assume. Breakfast good.
