Convenient to downtown area. Close to workplace, restaurants etc. Friendly staff. Has parking ($24/night) seemed a bit high, but room was reasonably priced. Older hotel, but clean and updated. Was having problems with hot water while I was there but was upfront about issue at check in and offered no penalty cancellation or heavily discounted rate. I've stayed there a few times over the years and always been satisfied.
No where I'll ever stay again. Only good thing about it was we were in walking distance of everything. One of the staff members was drinking. Most of the staff members wasn't professional. Front desk(only) gets an A+. My rooms was extremely small and SOMEONE HAD ALREADY SLEPT IN THE BED and staff didn't change sheets. That's pure nastiness. Sheets had all kinds of stains. I work at a Holiday Inn so I KNOW someone had slept in my bed. The housekeepers was not friendly. Terrible experience
The hotel was ok. Not updated, old smelling and because they are in the middle of renovations, the only food option is the breakfast buffet. I'm sure it will be better after all the work.
The place is a dump. There was food under the beds when we arrived. I can't tell you how many times the vending machines ate my money. The food at the restaurant was mediocre at best. The staff was friendly enough. No airport shuttles. We liked to sleep late and no one made up the room even after taking off the do not disturb sign. Avoid this one.
I work as a crew for an airline & stay at A LOT of hotels.! The only thing I like about this particular hotel is location. It’s downtown. Otherwise, I’m always bothered by the cleanliness of the room. If it wasn’t for work & I had a say in the hotel, I’d stay elsewhere. I found trash next to my bed. The toilet was also dirty & under the bed was just dirty! It’s like they do the bare minimum to attempt to make it look clean. Staying at hotels often I always carry disinfect wipes with me & if the hotel isn’t as clean as it should be, I’ll wipe everything down! When you travel for work & are always at hotels, you pay attention to everything! So location is great but the cleanliness questionable.
