Almost forget to mention. Although I asked for a non-smoking room. The room has a strong odd. Does the word, non-smoking mean anything to the management?
#1 toilet was never flushed and was used, gross.
#3 bed sheets were not fresh and pulled up from mattress ,showing they were either not changed or used.
I stayed in m6 many times, this one definitely ranks top three on my "the worst" list.
Urban location across from Walgreens and in walking distance of places to get a bite to eat. Clean. Accessible. Reasonable. Pet friendly. Close to Sun Records and Beale Street Historical area. Heating unit worked and shower pressure was solid.
Absolutely, the worst place EVER...that I almost stayed at.
I wonder how much a bottle of shampoo will cost, but I was absolutely dismayed when I asked for one and was told it was not provided. Be prepared to wash your hair with soap (what a surprise, soap was provided).
Cheap hotel. Creepy area at night. We had 4 of us in a room and i felt safe. Wouldn't stay here alone or with kids. Close to beale and decent distance to Graceland. Its a bit rundown but we didn't sleep much since we were on Beale til 1am. Motel 6 itself has gotten lower on the chain of hotels. They did let us check in early w/o grumbling so that's a plus.
#2 filthy carpets, not even vacuumed.
I wouldn't even put my bags down. A Friend and I were traveling across country and sharing a room w double beds. She walked over to cancel the room - no problem or questions asked from front desk as if this has happened before. While I was waiting outside in the car, I was watching drug deals going down in the parking lot, and people going in and out of the rooms. We were around the back of the building room 113 . I couldn't wait to get away from there as fast as I could. Horrible experience, felt very unsafe, it was dark ,we were tired from traveling and it was not good experience.
The walls are thin! We heard disturbing noise from the other rooms sometimes! Also the cleaning people forgot some trash behind the door! Theyre lucky their price is so cheap, its only true saving grace.
