I stayed here on August 10 2017. The room was pretty clean until I pulled the sheets back because I always check for bed bugs. I so wished I would have took a picture. There was evidence of bed bugs and I moved the liner and there was one crawling. My daughter handed me a cup and we took our luggage and the bug to the front desk. He gave me another room and it was clean with no evidence of bugs but trust me I didn't sleep well at all. . Still crawl when I think about it. No apology or credit. He acted as if it was normal. Just FYI when booking here. Hate I am so late posting after the stay but still doesn't change the fact of the bed bugs.
The hotel is old and worn out. Only good thing is the bed. Small tv and barely modern. I thought the employees were good until I found out they don't care after you check out. I took a extra blanket given to me by my grandmother that past away and left it there by accident. I contacted them not even a hour later they said they didn't see it. I know 100% it was left there and they didn't bother to look or they took it . Accidents happen and their customer service failed for a common mishap . That was just a blanket although important to me not that important to anyone else but what if it were your wallet, cell phone, medicine. I prefer trust worthy service. Never again will I be spending money here!
The hotel staff went above and beyond in friendliness, and they did a great job making sure we were comfortable during our stay. Breakfast had good choices, and they did a good job keeping it filled. This will be my first choice for places to stay when I come back to Memphis
Clean and tidy. Large room. Great area. The mattress is very hard, and sharp corners everywhere. The bed has some crazy frame all the way around it, and leaving this morning with bruises on legs and hurt toes. Breakfast was okay. Better to go to the Waffle House next door.

On a totally separate note: Do not waste your time on the breakfast there! Its horrible! Dried up salty scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs were HARD, coffee and orange juice tasted like water, apple juice tasted like syrup, pineapple juice tasted expired, milks were smelly, waffle batter made sour tasting waffles.
He is a diamond employee that ensured my stay was comfortable and convenient. He is absolutely appreciated. Thanks Neil!
