I do not carry cash and did not pay the stupid deposit. My flight was at 5:45am so I couldn't have gotten it back anyway.
They try to get an extra $50 cash out of you at the front desk, refundable after 8 am. The black guy ahead of me asked for a room on the first floor and they told him that it would be a $100 deposit.
This was the worst place I ever stayed. It reeked of mildew and and was filthy. The hallway smelled like marijuana smoke and the parking lot made me very uneasy....alot of suspicious people with very loud music coming in and out. There was trash all in the parking area too. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here, it just seems dangerous.
Great service and rooms
I stayed there for a month and things couldn't have been better. The place is extremely clean and peaceful, nothing bothered us the entire time there and the staff were all helpful, nice and friendly.they helped us with everything we needed. Highly recommended place, in my honest opinion. Were I to go back, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. There were no bugs or any kind of insects whatsoever. The room was cleaned every single morning. There wasn't any kind of noise during the night, I didn't see any suspicious looking people and again we were perfectly safe there. We were 4 women and had no problems with anyone in that hotel for a month.
Black mold on the bathroom wall and of course it stunk.
Oddly enough, I stayed on the first floor and they only tried to charge me a $50 deposit.
Room was not restocked and a hassle to get provided soap,towels,shampoo,etc.
