The room and bathroom were spotless upon check in, and have been maintained that way by the great housekeeping team. The beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. The linen is high quality (as are the bathroom towels).

Check in was quick, and the room with two beds (as requested) was ready. The room 1722 is well equipped, spotlessly clean, with two double beds, large bathroom, closet and very large desk. Mini fridge and in room safe included.

We have gone to the pool every day, which is located on the third floor, and whilst it is an indoor pool, there is an adjacent outside area if you want to enjoy the beautiful Memphis sunshine.

We arrived at the Sheraton Memphis 13 July for 4 night stay. I had emailed the hotel after my booking was made and received prompt responses to my questions - always a great sign.

While we were swimming in the pool, we took advantage of the adjacent laundry facilities, two washers and two dryers, no coins required as this Sheraton really seem focused on guest enjoyment.

Location is fantastic - Main Street trolley stop right out the front which will take you to all the spots downtown, Beale Street, National Civil Rights Museum etc, etc.

The staff are super friendly, every single staff member I have met, wherever and whatever timely the day, gave me friendly greeting.

Thanks for having us Sheraton Memphis - we have had a ball.

I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I always enjoy staying at a Sheraton hotel ( until my recent stay at the Sheraton Market Centre Dallas which I have reviewed on TA).

Dirty room. They gave us a new room and fixed it right away so that part was good. When the water main broke we discovered by calling and saying our plumbing wasnt working and they told us on the phone. Then set the fire alarm off waking up my family to announce it to everyone. The automated message to evacuate played for about 3 min and we were half way out before they came on and said it was a water main break. We went to the hotel to get showers and sleep. No water means no showers, and fire alarm going off waking us up took the sleep away. They failed to provide the two basic services we tried to obtain from them. They handed out water after we ran down 19 flights of stairs. So that was kind of a plus I guess. The house keeping manager was doing the best she could but the situation could have been handled better. They set off the fire alarm and told everyone to evacuate and that left a lobby of confused people standing around. We drove down the street and found another hotel.

My spouse and I stayed there on Christmas Eve 2017 after attending a holiday party downtown. We had a king bed room. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice size closet. Some of the amenities were a desk area, sofa chair, coffee pot, hair dryer, and refrigerator. The only minor downside was that it didn't have a microwave and our ice bucket had a hole in it. However, the ice bucket was extremely minor since we did have a refrigerator. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I almost forgot to say the place where the party was held had an overhead walk-thru tunnel that led directly from the hotel. That was a plus factor because it was freezing cold outside!

I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and walking distance (about a mile) to major attractions. There was also a trolley available to travel the distance. There is an indoor pool. A restaurant is on-site and the hotel is dog friendly. The area was very quiet despite many federal buildings nearby.

If you're looking to be close to the convention center, the location can't be beat. There is even a skybridge connecting the two buildings. The rooms didn't have a microwave, although there is an old, tiny one on the third floor. We had a mini fridge in our room that didn't work, and the staff never fixed it despite our request. The hotel room was nothing special. The hotel rooms and indoor pool had new fluffy towels, which was greatly appreciated!
