Booked a room in the am. Called the property and informed them of my late check-in. Gave the time of 8.30pm. Arrived at 8.10pm and was told curtly that no room is available. No apologies offered.
This is not a hotel; there are people that actually live here month to month and have guests come and go 24/7 People are smoking and walking up and down the halls and slamming doors 24/7 There is no security No one answers the front desk I’ve called the MPD twice the first time there was a guest snorting powder The staff is very nice However this is not a safe place for a single person or family Doors slam all night The elvevators rooms everywhere you go smells like cigarettes. Most of the guests act like they are drunk or high on something This place has been given higher reviews by people that live in it not by actual guests Someone needs to investigate this place for illegal activity up and down halls all night
I called while on the road and told them we weren't going to get there at the time we thought and that it would be closer to 3.30am . We were told no problem. When we got there the front desk was closed and there was a phone outside the frontdesk telling us to dial a certain extension but when we did we kept getting no answer, after trying to get the office to answer. We had been there for 15 minutes or more and had traveled from Fl. to Mephis because my husband had passed away. His body was arriving the next morning on Delta Air. There was an 800 number to call so my daughter called it and told them we had been trying to get someone to answer the phone. The person ask what state and location this WoodSprings was located once she had address ,she called their manager and he had the front office open office open immediately. Once we got to our room they were nothing as advertised on their website. The bathroom was dirty. The sink had dry milk in it. We saw a dead roach in bathroom and one crawling on wall up wall by refrigerator. The stove had food on it. I went down to get extra blankets and they only had one. It was one of the worst places I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, not to mention the main office was suppose to call within 24to 48 hours but we never heard a word from anyone. I wouldn't recommend this WoodSprings Suites to anyone. I will "never"stay in another one. It was the of the most horrible experiences in my life. Don't waste your time with this organization. We had confirmed reservations for 5 days and the day we were due to arrive the canceled our reservation and said, "we had walk-in". The manager Randy said, "Oh yes, if someone wants to stay and they have your room we have to give it to them" WHY DO THEY HAVE INDIVIDUALS RESERVE ROOMS THERE!! It don't matter. It is first come first serve with them. They don't honor their confirmed reservations even from out of state!!! They don't care about the customer!! Don't waste your time with them!!!!
Really enjoyed my visit here. I came here to visit my Auntie, I enjoyed the stay. The place was very clean and secure. I felt relaxed staying there. Nice facility.
